Lok Ayukta, Uttarakhand

The Government of Uttarakhand has created the post of Lokayukata by adopting The Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Up-Lokayukta Act, 1975.

It will be the responsibility of the office of Lokayukta to create awareness among the people, not to sleep over against their grievances against those Public Servants who abuse their position by holding a public office and indulge into Corruption, but to report the matter to the Lokayukta.
